I didnt do that its a bug in git version

I just went to creative and put 1 water block above sea level and it started to go global :(

That's normal. Raised my 1st map by 5 this way. (and that one had empty mapparts, so I searched for a way hot to fill the map, raising water over normal was the solution). You can undo it, by putting another block on the point, where you accidently put water. That works of cause only, if you didn't leave the client and returned ...
