and where is minetest.conf

It Depends on which Operating-System you are using , and the method of compilation you used if you're not on Windows .

On GNU/Linux (Ubuntu 11.10 for me) , you should find it in your home directory (/home/username/.minetest/minetest.conf) or in your game directory according to your compiling method .

On Windows , maybe it's in "my documents" or in "appdata" , I don't know and I don't have Windows any-more sorry !

And for Mac OS I don't know too , I never get a Mac ...

And for the server port I forgot to mention that the default port is "30000" .

linux is SO much easier but everybody else says like hell no windows is muche easier and linux is for hackers actually it just sucks oh people they are so annoying :D
