I'm not sure if this applies to this particular issue, but try
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
disable_anticheat = true

There should be a way to disable separate anticheat modules.

It was a suggestion... you can't disable some of the cheat preventions only, you must disable or enable them all.

Oh, OK. Then +1 to the suggestion.

I might take a stab at implementing this in the source. Await a pull request.

Honestly I have NO idea how this game can possibly work on online servers. Here we lose so many changes (digs) with just 2-5 players connected to a single high-end workstation running a server on a quiet LAN. How the heck can it possibly work with many simultaneous players across the noisy, lossy, public Internet?

Actually there aren't many cheaters on Minetest, if I were to run a server I'd probably disable anticheat on it. If people cheated on it, they would be banned by admins anyway (or if they were reported as cheating by several other players)

Also the anti cheat of minetest isnt very good. Its relatively easy to code a client that can fly without fly priv or that can swim in lava without damage.
I have such a client but I dont use it because its just stupid and its not very fun to play with it.
