Every time I try to join a server, it just says "Waiting content...(press Esc to cancel)" and doesn't enter. The command box says
PNG warning: Interface handling should be turned on when using png_read_image.

How can I fix this problem?

That is perfectly fine. Just continue waiting so that all the content from the server is downloded, and you will be able to play as usual. Then you will not have to wait as long for that server.

Some servers with a lot of mods installed may time you out if your internet is slow.

Yeah it matters on how much, mods if it just, normal everything it takes about 4-7 secs for me on "Waiting content...(press Esc to cancel)"

It has taken me p to half an hour with a slow connection and servers with excessively much media data. In such cases, downloading the cache folder directly may speed up things. Subsequent connections are way faster.

When there is some kind of firewall or other networking problem I have seen it just hang on that loading page too. If there's some kind of timeout set, it must have a very long duration.

How can I do this? Simmilar to you, i have waited for over 10 min, yet the command line hasnt changed since then. Please teach me how to download the cache file directly.

P.S i was trying to join menche's public server. ;)

I tried joining different servers but the command line still has errors.
