Farmesh is a great feature which is not supported since 0.4 Image

and it show a horizon, which is really nice

(0.3.1 version + jordach's texture pack conversion)

Maybe it can be improved a bit too, like adding a little more detail or drawing player-made structures o modified terrain, deforestation, etc

---------
another problem is fog, i dont know if it is different for other people, but for me, it start close, but when more chunks are loaded, more farther goes fog too, and i can't make it goes closer again, is this normal?

(using 0.4.6 in windows 7)

I always have fog disabled, because it makes minetest slower and decreases the viewing range. I also think being surronded by fog all the time feels creepy, especially in single player mode.

Use a fixed view distance:

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
viewing_range_nodes_min = 128
viewing_range_nodes_max = 128

This is an example for a 128 node viewing range (equivalent to Minecraft's "Far" setting).

Farmesh is a nice feature but nobody actually care to fix it.

in 0.3.1 runs at 6 fps with farmesh on with this settings (with vey few chunks loaded)

in 0.4.6 with these settings, nothing is noticeable until you load lots of chunks, the game goes down (15-10 FPS) this is where fog works! but never it get closer from 128.
Using noclip it goes worse (5 FPS)
