Well I noticed earlier when I went on my own server without build I couldn't be seen by other players. My server is setup with default privs of shout only. I remarked to my friend that I was like a ghost lol.

I've also had this issue, after restarting my server it seems to have fixed it.
However, when ever I issue the command "/clearobjects" players cant see me or see me move, and I can see other players but not see them move.
So I'm guessing its a problem with the /clearobjects command.

hmmm not sure then, I just noticed whenever the /clearobjects command was used I had problems with what you described above.
I also play legit, but sometimes you have no option but to use the /clearobjects command to remove dropped items by other players ^_^
EDIT: Also it could be still the cause as someone else on the other servers may have already run that command.

Well I noticed an invisible issue on my new server. When someone joins the server for the first time they are invisible. I tracked it down to the player file position. It seems new players get a position that is in the hundreds (example 245,-146,-220) but they see themselves at a position that is more reasonable. When I shutdown the server and edit their player file to set them to 0,0,0 they become visible again.

That should be automatically done, if a Player joins

Still the only way I can replicated this bug is by running the /clearobjects command, As long as I dont issue that command while the server is running I don't get this bug.
Quick work around for me was to just restart the server after I've run the /clearobjects command.

i noticed that when a player first enters the server it will not read me their position...for some reason all you have to do is RESTART the server..not reset the player position.

I don't use that command and this issue happens no matter how much I restart the server. Only solution for me is editing the player file.
