WARNING: updateListener: invalid value

by cypher-neo » Tue May 21, 2013 23:30

Using Linux Mint, kernal 3.5.0-17-generic i686 GNU/Linux

This bug started with Minetest 0.4.5, and continued with 0.4.6.

User input doesn't seem to be a factor because it happens at random times, and during different activities. All of the sudden, the screen will go gray, and I will get a message "ERROR[main]: WARNING: updateListener: invalid value".
F5 shows that my location has been changed suddenly "-inf, (y is dropping rapidly like I am falling), z"

I don't know why my location changes to -inf but I would like to know how to fix it. It's extremely annoying. The only way to fix it is to exit the game completely and reload it. After reloading the world I was in, my location is again wrong, this time usually -3210897, (y is stuck at whatever negative number I dropped to during the error), z"
