FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Hello. I am having issues with minetest-git on Arch Linux. I copied the mods from my ubutnu laptop and put them in ~/.minetest/mods/minetest/ . Minetest is not displaying them in the config section, the only entry is a mod called "minetest" which does not exist. What should I do?

Now I just feel stupid. Mods are not suppoesed to be placed in mods/minetest in .4.7. Must have just been changed. Sorry for posting.
