FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

When you play Minetest, the game automatically tries to keep your actual mouse at the centre of the screen (I think). However, once I quit Minetest, but the mouse stayed stuck at the centre of the screen. No programs were open,I checked in Task Manager (I opened it using the arrow keys). The only way I could stop it happening was by restarting. So, not a big problem for me, but if anyone had something important open, that they couldn't save, then it would be annoying to them.

My computer is Windows 7 Starter Netbook, with 1.6gHz Intel Atom CPU, and 2 Gb of RAM.
