FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

What happened to the clay? I cant find any anywhere, I probed beaches, where it should be, and its not. Is this a bug or something? Or did they remove clay from the game?

I mostly find it just under the water on normal sand beaches, sometimes it is buried under the sand. Just search next to oceans.

No, its not removed. But the way of generation is changed slightly (if you are using one of the lastest dev-builds), so clay fields may not look like before.

We're both playing on the Landrush server. I gathered many 99 stacks yesterday. There IS clay. A lot of it. You just have to run far away from any civilization to find it :)

I have taken a LOT of the clay anywhere near spawn... haven't you all seen my large brick mansion?

I've looked and looked, i have mined about 10 99 stacks of sand but no reward. ill keep looking...

Clay basically looks like grey sand.

This has changed in the latest development version, though.
It looks more like this:

(clay is made glowing here so you can see it)

Well i can see your image dan, but not adams, i dont know why my browser doesnt like loading media.
Also, on the computer next to me, (i have 3 computers), my brother is always finding so much clay, he already has 150 or so.
the funnny thing is, he found it right under his house, and we have the same version.

Well... Jut keep looking, I guess.

I gave up looking for clay, then i went and started a new map, and i spawned looking at it! lol
