I looked all over the internet, and every place says that to install texture packs in Minetest, you have to put them in the textures folder. What textures folder??? For me, there is none.

What do I do? How the heck to I install textures? The only world I can play right now is the minimal world.

there is no texture folder in Linux Mint 15!

Rightclick, "Create Folder", call it "textures", do the same inside that folder but name it "all" this time. Put all the texture files in there.

To install a texture pack, create a folder named "textures" in .minetest, then make another named "all" in "textures". Put the image files in "textures/all/".
To install the official game, create a folder named "games" in .minetest, and download and extract the game from here into that folder.
