FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

The second I turn on minetest it goes white and the debug log repeatedly repeats,
Access violation at 00318D61 write?=0 address=16
08:33:39: ERROR[main]: Some exception: "Access violation"
In trans_func.
It turned on fine after I installed and played minitest, but when I ran it after I deleted it, (sorry PilzAdam) It kept printing this on startup. I uninstalled any of the recent mods used, and replaced all the folders other than worlds and mods with the latest, download build fresh off the website for my Windows 8 computer, even went to minetest.conf and switched the current game label to minetest_game, BUT IT STILL DIDN'T WORK :(

I fixed it! I redownloaded minetest and put my worlds and mods in it! it works perfectly!

Hmmmm, it seems to be a bug in minetest.conf, when I put my old .conf there, it did the same error.
