FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Several servers, specifically Landrush ones say i have the wrong minetest version, but i have 0.4.7!
Suggestions?

I'm guessing you that you have to have the latest source from git on some servers, but I am not sure about landrush.

If you look at the LandRush server topic you will find:

"git" means, its not the stable release, but the current development version ("git" is our version control system, you need to pull the source from there if you want the latest dev version).

If you use windows then you can try my build of the development version (see my signature).

Spend several hours terraforming my land there, so I couldn't just let it go to waste.

Never mind, i thought it was working because it was starting to load, but this version is... worse. IT crashes whenever it gets to item textures.

Try disabling "Preload item textures"
