FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

when i am moving around everything is slow and jerky. is there any way to fix this (other than turning down the graphics).

also would running the game in Direct3d9 instead of in OpenGl make the game run smoother

If you run it on Windows and have proper drivers for your graphic card, then yes.

what if i dont have A Dedicated GPU and i just run my graphics off of the motherboard

im having the same problome

If you have a slow GPU then you cant expect Minetest to run smoothly with all the fancy settings on.
Turn all the graphics settings off, and try if OpenGL or directx run better.
