FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Every time I try to play on my singleplayer world, I get this error message:

ERROR[main]: ServerError: Failed to bind socket (port already in use?)

You cant run 2 singleplayer games at the same time; your probably have another Minetest running.

In the latest dev version of Minetest is it possible to run more than 1 singleplayer game at the same time, though.

what happened was that I downloaded a mod, but forgot to enable it. when I realized that I didn't enable it, I hit ESC when the game was still loading and for some reason it didn't close down all the way
