I should have set this up years ago. But it's no tale of woe.
Whether the temperature is high or low, regardless of cold winds blow,
away we go like Edgar Allan Poe, on now with the show. BTW rhymes are welcome.
I've noticed that sometimes my rats in the fence disappear, and after other login I see they are still there. The same goes to the plants from the farming mod (they are entities too). Sometimes even going far far away and then returning make them disappear or appear.
Just discovered this is somehow related to the terrain junks transfered by server. There's been a drawing delay for the area, when it finaly was drawn the entities where missing. Client logout/login didn't help, server restart did.

@neko259 Not really, players are a special kind of object. The problem with non-player objects like rats and lua entities is somehow related to static storage (which happens when the block that the object is in becomes non-active, aka all players have moved far enough away from it). Players are never statically stored so it's not the same bug.
I think I fixed the disappearing-players problem: patch. Not the disappearing non-player objects, though.

Then I'll answer when it gets there :)
I thought the bugs are similar because I don't see new players on the map and don't see their nicks, but they see themserves in the normal spawn position.
