FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Well, the title says it all. I have tried both sfan5's and BlockMen's builds. They both give me an error of something like 0x0000000000005 error. Then a Norton box pops up saying the security risk minetest.exe has been resolved, and it says it has removed libvorbis.dll, which is unsafe. Help?
