Minetest 0.4.7 Problems

I downloaded minetest today and many things were messed up. One thing was the item icons, most were mixed up like the desert stone would show sand and very few were okay and the rest were showing a light blue color covering the entire preview box for the item or it would show something that looked like a block of water, but when you selected it and it was in your hand it would show the right item. The second thing was the shaders, none of them worked and I got some errors at the beginning. One more thing was the mods. The only ones that worked were the mod packs where you select any part of that mod pack the others gave a error while the world was loading and I had to go disable them. Can you please help me?

Ok:
Wrong images=bad graphics card
Shader incompatibility=well, not compatable
Mods=I assume you renamed them correctly ?

Me when playing 0.4.6
Wrong images and shader incompatibility ==> Use Irricht Software Renderer

Your settings are wonky. Grab BlockMen's DirectX build and give it a try.

Try to read the file "minetest.conf.example" and write its configuration file.
Maybe something will turn out.

try adding this in the config file to remove messed up colours on the icon's

enable_texture_atlas = false
