FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Hello,

I'm pretty new to minetest. I started hosting a server with my friends with some mods on it. Sometimes the server freezes. It doesn't actually have an error, it just stops working. I can't issue a /stopserver command as it is frozen. So I have to close the cmd and use task manager to close the server. I can then rehost and it works for a little while, but it seems to happen more and more often and corrupt the data files causing other issues when I host it. Please advise.
