Hello community,
i am not sure if this error post here again before.
I use Windows XP SP 3 and Minetest 0.4.7
I do not use any Mods, only the Mods from Minestest game.
The last thing before the crash.
I want to plant a flower on the ground.

This is the debug.txt befor before the cash.

After I start the again, I see, that I am not lost anything maybe.
The same game seems to be okay. *puh*

1) Try to upgrade your MT version to a dev. version (mostly they work better than the last stable version)
2) Check if you use OpenGL (= not Direct3D9)
3) fixed?

That "Assertion '0' failed" error occours a lot and is usually not particulary helpful. In this case, upgrading to the latest git version of MT (there are builds for Windows available) and to the latest version of mods and especially minetest_game (contains the flowers-mod) might help.

Thank you @Krock and @Sokomine for helping me and sorry that my information are not
helpful enough.
I can post the crash report from Windows if you want that.
I put the line video_driver = opengl into the minetest.conf
But that was not a good idea.
The game now is more faster, really fast.
How can that be? Okay, I like it. ;)

My question. I see 5 possible updates for minetest.
I am sure, there are some more. Minetest 2? Minetest Classic -C55 and more.
Which one should I try to use, please?

Hope it will help for a more stable game.

Greeting,

mathias wolfgang

One of the latest builds:

If you use Windows try one of these 0.4.7 unstable builds. If one fails you, try another.

In my experience the latest git is as good or better than stable.

Classic:

This is a classic version that has been ugraded. You 'll be able to play on Darkrose's server.

or try the 0.3.1: http://minetest.net/old_releases
