FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Okay, so I help run a server, thus; I mus get on, daily, sometimes quickly (if problems occur) However, once I have downloaded 0.4.8, it keeps saying my password is incorrect. I am not sure why, even after my friend Vazon changed my password, then let me change it back to my original, the problem still continued. This worries me, I want to be there for my players. Could someone tell me why this is, and how to fix it?

What Minetest version does the server run?

0.4.8 But I found the problem, you have to click the server first, then type in your password. Where, I used to do it vice versa. xD I feel dumb now, but thank you.
