Install mods
How do I install mods? I can't find the ~/.minetest folder. Also, should I unarchieve the mod? Thank you for your time to read this.

If you have a run-in-place build, you put your mods into the "mods" folder found within the Minetest folder that was created after you downloaded and/or extraced it. ~/.minetest will only exist on Linux systems using a system-wide (not-run-in-place) Minetest install.
Always unarchive the mod, rename the folder to whatever the author says it needs to be (it's always in the forum post's title at the end, if the post is in Mod Releases), and copy the result into your mods folder.
