My loading screen has no icons.

Okay, so I've been trying to download minetest for forever. I downloaded it and found out that I had to move the files around and do other stuff like that to get it to work, and I'm not familiar with coding and stuff, so it's taking a while. I've almost got it, but whenever I start up my loading screen, only the blue background shows up- not the icons, so I can't click anything. I put the minetest_game thing in the games folder, but it still won't work right. Is this question specific enough? I don't know.... any ideas of what might be wrong? I have linux, 32 bit. Thank you for your patience, and I'm sorry if there's a simlar question on the board- I couldn't find it.

A) Have you clicked "start game" yet (or join server etc), or have you just run the program?

Try running minetest from the terminal

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

I assume you have Ubuntu? Make sure you download the proper version for your operating system. Normally you should not have to do moving and programing stuff. Just download, extract and run the "minetest" file in /minetest/bin/ .
