Lag when same I.P?

My sister and I are trying to play 0.4.9. our I.P is almost the same, save the lave 3 numbers. When we get on the game, It takes 5 minuites after I do something for it to register on her C.P.U? What in the World...?

Sounds like you are playing over LAN.

My server is on the same network as my client. After 1 failure join with gray background and some errors and a rejoin, it works fine.
I can't notice any lag or connecting slowness.
