I've had the same error appear with my Ubuntu 14.04 install and using the last 3 dev versions... I keep having to remove and re-install 2736 which works ok...

Its gonna be fixed within other changes, so until its merged you can fix it by just removing "--" here: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/bl ... t.lua#L221
