A new fork of minetest like Ace of Spades (need help)

Hey everyone,
I'm writing a fork of minetest a bit like
Ace of Spades (well, I didn't need to rewrite the title :S). It will work by using the 3D player mod, and we will have to write something to append the weapon/tool/block/item/whatever to the hand.
We will also use many mods of minetest (modified of course), including the Gun mod (and many copies of it will be made, changing the strength etc...). We'll have to set block strength so that people can build defensive structures without too much worry of getting their structures destroyed (maybe an HP for each block?)
In a later release, we will also make more enemies, but we first need to have the 3D animals thing up. Once we have that setup, we can make a mode which could be co-op against zomies or enemies, or even another (human) team.
Anybody up to helping me make this? Ideas are welcome too :), oh, and graphics are really needed (maybe some sort of a ninja/secret-agent for the player?)

Awesome! I'm actually going to use the 3D player patch for this (I just need to figure out a way to add the weapon to his hand though). Can you convert the player images to the 3D player format?

Wow! Where is the image for that? I'm thinking of letting the player choose his skin (either ninja, secret agent, assasin, etc...).

I've made this suggestion to jordach once but that's so cool someone's trying to do it:D weapons in hand:)

Awesome! Maybe the ninjas could be black also? I was thinking of making only 2 classes, the secret agent, and the ninja.
The secret agent would be a tech wiz, but slow, and the ninja is totally off-tech, but very fast.
The secret agent could have heavy-duty guns, but maybe the ninja could have knifes (throwing weapon and melee). Maybe we could disable the J/E key for the secret agent, so that the ninjas can really have an advantage in speed, while the secret agents have a big advantage in strength

just a question, why is there a black pixel to the bottom-right of the secret agent's mouth?

yeah, maybe we should just remove that black pixel on the bottom-left of his mouth, it makes him look weird.

I've got a new idea for the game: everything has an HP. If you try to mine stone, but you stop mining that piece of stone (so you haven't got it yet), it will remain cracked.

@jordan, I don't fully understand what you are asking, but the skin depends on the class you selected.
