Make more colours of flowers than in Minecraft, please... purple/white/orange flowers? See the workbench thread for why.

I have no idea why you couldn't have just Quoted that ¬.¬ Pure lazyness.

Yes it was the plan to-do so, Everything in the OP isn't Finally or all of what's happening.

How ever i do want to try and stick to the Colour Chart in making colours as much as possible.

Also Please see Post #30 after the EDIT on forms of making dye since you want to try and keep minetest away from minecraft as much as possible.

Okies will start working on some textures in a few minutes just uploading some updates to a clients website.

Also: Red Dust + Bottle of Water = Red Dye in a bottle

Me very much like this idea :D so +1 for that!

Coolio, i like that method too, also i have updated the Textures Needed List in OP.

EDIT:

Also for Bottled Water I'll be Using A tempary method to get it.

¬_¬ turns out I didn't reinstall Adobe master collection CS5 when I formatted my system the other day...

I've knocked some flowers up in paint though :) if you don't like them let me know I will redo them once I can find my CS5 discs.

Also wasn't 100% sure on the size so if they are too small/big I can easily change that in paint :D (lol...I never thought I'd see the day of using paint again ¬_¬)

Made a few additional colours just...ya kno...in case you need em hehe

EDIT: Oh I did single flowers but can do some bunches if you wanted bunches in stead.
EDIT 2: Added tall versions of flowers.
EDIT 3: Added Beakers (empty / water filled).
EDIT 4: Added Beakers with coloured dyes.
EDIT 5: Added missing beaker colour (violet) ^.^
EDIT 6: Added Dust/Powder textures.

Thank their Awesome, Also thanks for the Extra's as I'm still not 100% sure on how I'm dealing with Dyes and Dust.

Depending on how you would do them could result in them not looking so brilliant in game, as they have to have a Centre where they cross over as I'm sure you can see in the image of red flower test.

If you want to give it ago then do it for Blue & Purple and possibly white

@No-Half-Measures Okies I'll leave the bunches for now, also screenshot looks pretty cool :D do you think I should increase the stalk length by 2 pixels? in the screenshot one of the leafs is embedded in the ground, so I was thinking If I increase the stalk by 2px (down) then it would sit better on the ground maybe?

First I'll see what I can do to the code to fix that as I didn't notice that. I'll edit this post if I need a hight adjustment.

Ok thanks ^.^ , Jungle Grass actually has the same thing happening to it which is strange so ill investigate into that.

I've just come up with some more textures empty beaker and water filled beaker (Post #35), I know you asked for a bottle but its quite hard to make a bottle that clearly shows whats in it when your limited to 16x16 hehe.

Let me know if you like the beakers if so I'll do the rest of the textures if not no worries :)

Yeah i love them, That's actually what I meant by bottle though oddly i wrote down bottle lol.

Violet ;] There will probably be more colours to come as I go on but for now its all good.

Now i just need to come up with a way to make the beaker =/

Idea's:

New Item = Blowpipe, Made from JungleWood.

#1
New Block - Glass Blow Furnace
Blowpipe + Glass Block = Beaker

#2
Furnace
Blowpipe + Glass Block = Beaker (Blowpipe is Lossed)

Any suggestions?

haha okies, well just give us a shout when you need any I'll be glad to help, also I completely forgot that the beaker would have to be crafted....haha

Just having some grub then I will get the flower dust done for ya :D

Ok I really like the idea of having a use for JungleWood...but not sure if its making it overly complicated hmmm not sure.

What about something just using glass in the workbench/inventory like maybe: (G = glass, S = empty space)

@dannydark, Great work, loving it all.

Regarding the 'making it overly complicated'. True but at the moment JungleWood has no use but a building block and isn't very attractive at that. So giving it some use is beneficial for all.
As there has been discussion on Forums somewhere about adding another slot to the Smelting side, #2 would fit perfectly into that, it would also make way for other block idea's I have had too since this method would be more logical to make them.

The tool images would have been in minetest-src\data\textures\items\ however i could not find where their path was stated in the files. Is this ok for you Celeron? I did it to make it easier to find things since there is allot of textures now, that isn't the final list and is subject to change.

For anyone wondering if I am still continuing this, I am indeed. I have been focusing allot of my time on my Website over the last couple of weeks and haven't had much time to get on with this. I have now have some what got a set time schedule for things now allowing me time to work on this.

Though even with that my Knowledge of how the Generation System works is slowing things down a little as I'm frequently having to test my changes. As it stands at the moment,
Red Flowers generate in Jungle Regions at a quiet balanced amount per jungle.
White Flowers seem to be Super rare no matter what changes I make to try a increase its nodes size it seems to all ways be one on its own. Now its rareness is fine with me though Id like the amount of them in an area to be more than one.

Hmm thank for pointing that out, though that is ment to be red.

Just looked threw red,orang & yellow flowers and found orange flower is more yellow than orange and red is more orange than red >.<

If @dannydark see this i hope he changes them otherwise ill do so myself ^^

Yeah Staffs you are correct though Alchemy in the game could be a nice thing.

True, TnT would need other features in the game for it to even work effectively and not cause problem with greifers using it to greif and at that TnT should be hard to get that materials to make it too.

It probably would need redstone, clickers, items falling on ground and not instantly in your inventory ! Althought i think we rlyy need the last one !
