And, if you can somehow make mobs drop stuff on death, like a dungeon master drops a lava bucket, oerrkis (or however that's spelled) drop something else, etc., it would make it actually useful to kill hostile mobs.

Hpw I develop this fork:

1. Download source from Github.

2. Compile on Ubuntu

3. Cool! Stuff works.

4. Add in some awesome sauce.

5. Move to windows drive.

6. Re-boot.

7a. Start Windows XP.

7b. Get messaged by LolManKuba via Skype.

7c. Play MC.

7d. Get back to work.

8. Open Github.

9. Move the new src into the local Git repo.

10a. Commit them locally.

10b. Sync.

11. Wait for feedback.

There should be testing but I think you know I test them myself.

Once I finish making all kinds of new blocks - then the server is free to use.

I AM ALSO REQUESTING A SECONDARY CODER - ASSISTANCE IN MAKING A BETTER MAPGEN.

Textures; enjoy, their naming spec are from 0.3 days - but that is subject to change, because I will convert them into the 0.4 spec for texture packs.

Mapgen - OldCoder is assisting me with a better type mapgen, so we will still have,

Deserts
Forests
Oceans
Mountains
Jungles.

I want a balance between old and new.

And my simple modding API is slowly improving.

Erm... as much as I love 0.2 (I still use it, 0.4 is too slow for me right now), I was interested in this fork for its new content, like wool.

Problem for me with 0.4 is that OpenGL is too slow, and DirectX crashes. :|
0.4.6 is better though, I just tried it today. Esp. when shaders are disabled. :)
<offtopic> BTW, does anyone use the software renderer, 'cause it's kinda cool. </offtopic>

Anyways, I have no more problems using 0.4 (sorry to talk in 'n old topic).

EDIT: Wait, "Add most of mods from 0.4 in without any bugs" means... kind of confused, do you mean put in mods from 0.4 into 0.4 or into 0.2? -_-"

I know. I thought for a second you might be him. Also in my opinion that is creul to do that to your own brother. i mean kindle man is creul to OldCoder
