3D modling software

by GJH105775 » Mon Oct 28, 2013 22:37

As the title suggest. What software is best for 3D molding in minetest. I have used a few most too advanced to use with minetest as it takes too long. Google sketchup seems to be a good contender as it is the most balanced between User friendly and powerful.
Check out my mod xtrablocks, has some different types of marble that you can build with or mine at different depths

I am not here regularly as I just kind of pop in and out. If you want to find me I'll be on quadcopterforum.com helping with multirotor builds and spending other's money haha.

Just use blender,it's one of the best programs for modeling and it could be useful as knowledge for other informatic projects.

Blender. Just blender, you can't get a better 3d modeling program then that.

That's the one problem. However, I wasn't aware that google sketchup had animating capabilities. (does it?)

Yes. You can do animations on Google Sketch up. I use it for proto-typing, you can have sliding, rotating, and joints though.
