Has been done but not released, blockman's preview here https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=7289. Features like 3rd person and 3d wielded items are still in experimental stages so i would say they wont be added anytime soon.
Running @1.19 MHz, 128 bytes of RAM and interchangeable 4kb ROM carts!
