It should, it is meant to work for lava and the basic fire node

Maybe need add "Brewing guide" book with recipes similar "Craft guide" book (http://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=14088)/

i think, thats the fun, if you found out most of the recipes :) (ok, you need to know what to place in, but dont have to know when :D ) but the breewing stand is quite simple, why would we need a guide ?

I don't think amadin is referring to the brewing stand in particular.
I will eventually fix the crafting scroll.
