isnt that kind of like cheating?
i would rather have an item that acts as a really long fuel, but its complicated to make, or needs some rare materials. Eg, Mese Coal or something. =)

It would be a lot easier for them to learn those commands, than spam the help section with topics like ''help me pls!!! :'('' or ''SOMEWAN HALP MEH PLS!!!!'' and other crap that doesn't give a hint to the real problem they need help with, and their need for help is ''i cant git mods to wurk where do u put them?'' or something related to that.
It's a lot easier for them to learn how to do ''/giveme default:coal -1'' rather than installing an entire mod :P
And after they learn more about MT, they can install mods and stuff, and make mods.
Also, someone could just download the ''maptools'' mod and do ''/giveme maptools:infinitefuel -1''
