the mobs are hard to kill and do too much damage ...
you could also include talismans to increase the damage the mobs ...
I imagine it this way:
reinforcement could be of the following materials:
- weak armor:
- wool = 1 level of protection
- Leather = 2 levels
- Wood = 3 levels
- medium armor:
- Clay = 4 levels
- stone = 5 levels
- coal = 6 levels
- legendary armor:
- steel = 7 levels
- gold = 8 levels
- liquid gold = highlander (not die, requires armor gold and talisman liquid gold), (could have a very high difficulty of drop in the crafting)
- talismans:
- water: fire protection
- Air: Increases attack power of all weapons 1 level (could be done with chicken feathers)
- Stone of beasts: Decrease damage from animals such as the lovo (could be done with a lovo tooth or a leg)
- Lava immunity to plasma
- liquid gold (legendary): increases the life for damage taken over X attacks (necessary to make the armor of gold), (could have a very high difficulty of drop in the crafting)
minecraft64 wrote:since no one seems to have made an actual armor mod i have an idea,we could make a simple mod where when you craft armor (with a material, maybe even wood) it can be used as food, like you are low on health, so you put on armor to increase it. if i can probably make and so can you guys, I'm not real good at coding so i will probably have to use an existing food mods code(at the least some of it) I'm so sorry I made you read this long and boring topic. let me know if you want me to make it...
rubenwardy wrote:Minetest already has armour, but you cant edit it. (It is in metadata form)
(When you hover over a player it tells you their armour)
Maybe if you use/extend this
