To play electric guitar you first need to craft one. See below:



Once youve done this you need to craft an amp:

Next place the amp in the desired position. With the amp you can not only play but you can listen to it up to 100 blocks away.
The guitar has (currently) 7 chords, E,F,G,A,B,C, D, all as power chords.
The guitar starts on E. To change note simply right click whilst facing a block (not air).
The note only changes whilst you are pointing at something, otherwise it wont work.
Left-click to play the note. You can play more than one note at a time.

To play acoustic guitar you first need to craft one:



Luckily you don't need an amp. But with the acoustic guitar you are limited to a 32 block listening distance.
Just like the electric, the acoustic guitar only has 6 notes, E,A,D,G,B,e, also all the strings on the guitar.
The guitar starts on E. To change note simply right click whilst facing a block (not air).
The note only changes whilst you are pointing at something, otherwise it wont work. sorry.
Left-click to play the note. You can play more than one note at a time.
