Iron bars are in default minetest_game

I've noticed a problem with the glass panes, they turn non-transparent if you look straight at them:

The players on my server would like to have another (or a fixed version of this) mod that has the xpanes behaviour and coloured glass, but without the graphics glitches.

Is there an updated version of this mod available?

EDIT: This seems like a game bug, not a bug with this particular mod, as the "stained glass" mod blocks also show this behaviour sometimes. Is this a known problem?

Try minetest 0.4.14, there was fix of such cases.

Can someone please help me? I can't use .rar files!
(they are very .rar-ely used :D)

Download filzip, it can rar.ely open them

7zip is free and open-source, can open such files.

Btw, I use linux Debian Jessie 8.
Edit: I also like to use open-source libraries.

I'm updating xpanes for MineTest 0.4.14 on my private server so that other mods calling for "xpanes" don't crap out (such as "castle") and not load. I've fixed 2 errors so far by changing the mods name to "xpanes_plus" along with replacing "xpanes:" to "xpanes_plus:" _and_ replacing "tile_images" with "tiles" in the init.lua code. Works OK for now except for this:

I'm not a Lua programmer so if anyone knows where (and how) to initiate the change please respond [Grin].

Oh. Here is a link to stackoverflow explaning it. It is in python, but I think it is aplicable. Maybe update libpng?

I get so many errors/warnings from MineTest (hundreds) about this and and other stuff I really am leary of setting this up for my Daughter and myself on a local server. By the way if you're referring to the [Grin] it's not any code, I'm an old-time computer guy (from before the Internet) and in UUCP (bang (!) addresses - no @ allowed) we only had ASCII so that's an emoji from 1970's-80's computing.
