Mushroom mod
original code by DanDuncombe and VanessaE
modified by Napiophelios rev-001

Depends: default, vessels?, woodsoils?

For Minetest 0.4.10 development build (commit d2219171 or later)

This is a modified version of the mushroom mod by DanDuncombe and VanessaE;
the mod now uses drawtype=mesh

Original code (and current changes)

Still need to tweak the node selection box..they are kinda off set

Don't feel bad. Takes me a few exports to get the centers, or bottoms where I want my meshes too.

I like them but I think that they may not fit into minetest without a high resolution TP because if the node's top texture consists of 16px the mushroom maybe doesn't look grown on the ground.

I agree they look out of place with anything less than x32 textures.

I like VanessaE's HDX textures for mushroom mod,
but I thought the plant like draw type looked kinda weird with them
so I made this as just an experiment.

I think currently you aren't able to eat them, mushrooms which aren't grown somewhere in a prepared cellar usually contain worms and I think you aren't able to remove all of them because they're so small, some of them you can't see with the bare eye, especially the little eggs. And in minetest you can find flowers, there's a reason that they have coloured heads, so there's a reason for the eggs, too.

pretty damn cool.

This is my first project using blender so mines not quite as refined as yours.
I messed up my blender export or something cuz I cant alter the visual scale much ,
If I try to make them smaller they appears floating in air.

The original files are huge,so my first few attempts had gigantic mushrooms everywhere.
maybe make some giant shrooms for a caverealms type environment
