Hi, i'm new in this forum, but I have a server and some mods, but I really need a home protection MOD, I have an suggestion:

The player needs to build an Protection Stick:
X=Stick, O=Nothing
OXO
OXO
OXO

When he clicks in an node in x=1 and y=1, and so he clicks in x=10 and y=10, the home is created, and just he have permission to destroy the blocks (if a player destroy a block in the home, and the name of the player is not the name of the player that owns the house, spawn an equal block in the place of the other), and the home expires in 2 weeks.

I don't think we need this mod, anyway it is not possible to code every aspect of your description (expires in 2 weeks).
If a server runs this mod griefers would place Protection Sticks everywhere in the world.
This would not stop griefers, but make them even more dangerous.

But it can have an limit (1 home per player) and the locals protected cannot be set again, and there's can be a size limit (50x50 example). The expires in 2 weeks, well, I don't think this will be needed.

I just want a anti-griefing mod for my server, this would be good.

A griefer can login with 20 different names... and noone can stop him!

Because i've created an folder and put the files inside, and used the "/set_owner unique -100,-100,-100 100,100,100" in the game and re-entered with other name, and i've destroyed an block in the protected area =/

you can though, but you wont get the material.

Did you apply the 2 patches? The patch to builtin.lua is required for the mod to work. (I'm assuming that you are running a local game and not connecting to an 3rd party server.)

True, and I would have a better Modification idea, whenever you build something, nobody but you could do anything to it, and if you're friend like

Sorry about the last reply it blocked it off for some reason, and anyway, True, and I would have a better Modification idea, whenever you build something, nobody but you could do anything to it, and if you're friend like "live" in the same Minetest house you can type a command like. e.g. /givepermissionbuild (Name) to give them permission to buil, but the good part would be, only you can say the command for your own house.
