I am looking for a mod to use a small boat like this video:

I think it could be fun and easy to create.

Should increase the speed when x2 is on the boat.

Optional:

That we can put fuel :D.

Making a boat mod is far from trivial and would probably require C++ patches. Plus, 3D models would probably be needed.

Or a block.

xyz's block thing would help maybe retextured and altered to use water as a track? or sapiers rideable block mod using those im sure someone could get a good idea of how to do it :p

I may have to email Sapier on this for minecarts and boats.

Okay.

1.) the ridable blocks mod
2.) remove the weird rails and replace with water_source & water_flow
3.) have ridable block delete self if in lava_source & lava_flow
4.) take players forward walking position and face the "boat" that way
5.) ...
6.) profit??

Why not just a raft? Easier for texture and easier to ride and code, problem solved.
