[Mod] Aging [aging]

Aging Mod
slowly ages the user over time, and adds effects accordingly

Current Stuff

Chat Commands:
  • /age - Displays your current age
  • /setage <player> <age> - Set a player's age, "immortal" for immortality
  • /cure <player or blank> - Cure yourself or another of all current diseases
  • /agespeed <seconds in one year> - Set aging speed

New Items:
  • Fountain of Youth - Resets age to 0 (aging:fountain_of_youth)

  • Cancer Cure - Begins Curing mechanism for cancer (aging:cancer_cure)
    • Crafting -

  • Cancer Funding - Funding necessary to research for a cancer cure, any flower can be used (aging:cancer_funding)

  • Cancer Research - The result of the Cancer Funding (aging:cancer_research)

  • Effects
    • Slower Movement
      • Probability of contracting effect over time (x-axis = years, y-axis = percent chance)

      • Speed penalty (x-axis = years, y-axis = speed multiplier [divide by 100 to get actual value])

      • Cure - Use your walking stick! (default:stick)
    • Memory Loss
      • Probability of contracting effect over time (x-axis = years, y-axis = percent chance)

      • Over Time (every 30 seconds) a hotbar space is removed, minimum is 1 space
      • Cure - Eat some Memory Improving Herbs (default:dry_shrub)
    • Cancer
      • Probability of contracting effect over time (x-axis = years, y-axis = percent chance)

      • Damage Taken Over Time (x-axis = Tens of seconds, y-axis = hp damage every 10 seconds)

      • Cure - Cancer Cure - (default:cancer_cure)
    • Inheritance
      • Chance

      • You get a random amount of diamonds (1-50), mese blocks (1-5), and gold ingots (1-75) from your distant uncle, cousin, nibbling, or aunt.

    • To-Do positives of being old
      • more items per craft
      • training
      • player gains "height" as they become older, limited capability due to engine, see creatures
    • To-Do negatives of being old
      • slower digging
      • some craft no longer work / crafting book

whoa, this looks pretty cool. One question, is the rate of ageing easily adjustable, or a setting?

Oh yes, I forgot to mention. There is a command /agespeed <seconds in one year>

This might be closely coming into what minecraft has. that is Minecraft Comes alive.

Overall very nicely done.
Hope see more features and you can make some cool interesting features.

maybe your playerskin changes as you age (based off the default model) when u a kid u look like a kid sam, when u old u have grey hair and wrincles
