[DEPRECATED] Intersect Light

Edit: This mod does almost exactly the same thing as the noise-based caves in mapgens v5, v7, and valleys. I don't see any reason to maintain it, so I'm declaring it obsolete.

This is based loosely on Paramat's Intersecting mod. It creates a connected series of tunnels and caves, but with only two noise maps, so it operates a lot quicker and in less memory. It can be used with other cave systems or stand-alone. Personally, I recommend Caverealms.

Code: MIT, textures: CC0 and GFDL

Mod dependencies: default

This cavegen destroyed sometimes trees and other structures. I made this visible by adding glass instead of air.

I have fixed this issue by adding heightmap check. The cavegen also destroyed riverwater. Fixed this too

There is still an issue where the cavegen adds sand barriers into the intersections at the chunk borders. Try to fix that too

Actually, I did that deliberately, though it does look strange when tall trees get cut off. I didn't like water bridges forming over cave mouths.

I disagree with that. It is similar, but not the same.

I'm sad to hear that because I like your cave mods. I will continue the work with your mods, if it is ok.

You are right, I'm still not happy. But this is caused by minetest. I hope this will be changed in the near future
