video card Direct3D for minetest-0.4.dev-20120408?

20120408 version of minetest I run in 9 FPS in OpenGL and makes the game look slow, you can do something like Direct3D to put in this version?, is that I play with this version since my pc runs better in Direct3D
Nothing is impossible, Only you need you mind to create... and Sorry for my Bad English :D

Nope, Irrlicht has fucked Direct3D 8/9 it will always crash.

The only way I can think of fixing is, well, juggerybugery, but even then it wont. :C

I use the OpenGL version, even on my netbook and it runs pretty fine, same FPS as DirectX version (well, in older versions such as 0.3.1).

Tweak your graphic settings properly, disable fancy leaves, disable fog and clouds (in minetest.conf, enable_clouds = 0 and enable_fog = 0).

When it enabled, it runs faster on my netbook.

Well, fog actually makes distant stuff harder to see, and uses some minimal amount of GPU.

The 0.4.dev-20120408 snapshot build has been built with MSVC, and thus has direct3d support. Add this to minetest.conf:
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

I'm still getting "access violation" in direct3d. Now, opengl runs better in my crappy notebook than in previous minetest versions. It still gives that old error that display different icons for each kind of node in opengl mode, and there is something strange that makes a lot of lag in singleplayer mode

I did what celeron55 instructed to do in order to play the game in Direct3D but the game continues to run in with OpenGl leaving the game running at an average of 2FPS for me (I have OpenGl 1.1)
