[MOD REQUEST] More mobs + spawners

Can someone make more mobs + mobspawners it should be awsome

Why? I see the need for mob spawners, but Mehlikegam3s is really un-necessary, all you are doing is spamming the forum.

Mob spawners, good idea, challenging if spawned naturally.

Mob spawners, requires more node data to ensure it only spawns one mob and not all.

yes maybe some skeletons like in minecraft and zombies but then in 3D

3D will be soon implemented, just not yet, Celeron has to wait for some awesome code before he will add it into Minetest.

there has been the dungeon master... a short time ago... maybe a redesign from celeron may help :)

Well, it's in C++, and he wanted to remove all C++ mobs to replace them with LUA mobs. So now Celeron and Sapier need to work together to make some 3D mobs :)

and i think he was cconcerned with preformance since 3D and low specs dont go too well some times and to stay on topic i was making some drawings up and started making some ideas for mobs and i thought about the necrominer he steals player stuff and disapear if you see him again you might get what you lost or what another player lost well atleast thats the basic idea idk if its feasable thought

Necrominer, I like that name :-) , stealing and/or trading stuff = great idea! Maybe disguise it as a tree or cactus.

Don't forgot, you'll need a crafting recipe for those spawners... for those who can't find them in the wild. However, they should take awhile to craft so people don't just craft them like crazy and set them all over the place to cause grief.

I say the mobs occasionally will drop something of themselves (like a heart or an eye) that can be used as a center piece. Using the supernatural powers of the MESE block because there are no other alternative... and tree... what? Tree bark has a good texture.

There should be more of the special item because if the mob is common you can get the item easily. Maybe this:

Image Look what I was doing while this thread drifted away. I made a spawner texture for the oerrki. No, it's not functional. It was made for my new texture pack, but I figured I let that one loose for you guys to use to make a spawner.

And now for a demonstration...
