FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

I've written a mod for a block that will wipe out a huge chunk of water, stopping at barriers (IE, clear out an underwater building) Interesting results in oceans too :-)

Anyway, presently there's no recipe to make it and the texture is a purple blob. I've called the mod Watergone and the object is a Goner.

resource will be WTFPL.

Anyone want to donate a texture for this? Suggestions on crafting recipe, name changes, etc?

I originally called it a sponge, but saw that there was already a sponge mod floating around on the forums, so I hastily changed the name.

What's a good place to upload the mod to? I don't really want to sign up for an account anywhere if I can avoid it.

For free file hosting use omploader.org and textures just do something, at least we know it does something.

What Jordach said. You could also use MediaFire, but omploader has direct linking and no ads.

i can make you a texture, if you're interested, it's what I can do best anyway.
