FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

It would be faster if you just grabbed a mod that most closely resembles what you want and tweak it.

Though im not a huge fan of lua entities, even with recent hardware upgrades they lag my game to unplayable levels.

I agree - I am thinking of buying Minecraft now; just because LUA is so damn slow.

I wouldnt go that far lol FPS 10 is still better than playing a java game lol

I just avoid lua entities.

-Giant ogre-done
-Lizard-done
-Birds (three kinds)-not done
-Fireflys-not done
-And a secret one^_^-not done
ill try and work on them soon i just been working on some Ps3 projects i have so ive been putting off my minetest work.

will they be in 3D???

...Minetest doesn't support 3D models for entities currently, only sprites, "flat" planes and cubes.

i play minetest and minecraft and if u do buy minecraft u wont be dissapointed

I sometimes get a framerate of 70-100 its only on the new ones that its so frigging slow. 0.3.1 runs great

Plizadams simple mobs is pretty darn cool. its in mod releases and is called simple mobs (if you didn't already know this)
