Did you ask every mod owner to use it? Because if there not a certain type of license, you cannot use them without permission.

I thought it would be fine if everyone else is downloading t and changiing stuff then put them back on the forums

Unless it's WTFPL mods or something similar to WTFPL

You can download and use anything you want off these forums. Commercial software aside, which is not the case here anyway, licensing means nothing when you're just downloading and using a mod or texture pack.

The issue is when you want to *redistribute* those downloads, as in the form of a modpack. At that point, you must comply with the licenses supplied with each mod. Most of the time, those licenses will be WTFPL, GPL, or some sort of creative commons license.

Generally, if the licenses all permit redistribution, no one here is going to complain about you assembling and distributing your own modpack, unless they just don't like modpacks anyway :-)

I dont really see a problem with modpacks made up of other peoples mods - but you can't ignore people that ask for help, because that would make the author(s) look bad, and they dont have time to scout every modpack thread that contain their works for bug-reports :p :-)

Ill be checking for the latest versions for the mods each day.

Also, could you list which mods are in the modpack? Kinda like this:

beds, by PilzAdam
and so on for the rest of the included mods.
