Nice!

I installed the 'latest' minetest to get the mod working.

Maybe this will attract a whole new target audience to minetest :-)

Hey cornernote i would love to play around with these little things but i get an error: ServerError: LuaError: error running function
'on_step': attempt to index a number value. Why is happening? Here is also 20 lines of the debug.txt:

Josh, to generate a usefull debug-report you must exit minetest completely, go to your home folder/directory, delete (or rename) the debug.txt file, start minetest up again. Try to create/start a game, wait till the error occurs again, leave minetest, go to your home folder, doubleclick on debug.txt to open it with your default text editor, search for ERROR (most of the time the bottom part), copy all those error lines and paste them.

Here we are. Iv'e found 2:
13:09:03: ERROR[main]: ServerError: LuaError: error running function 'on_step': attempt to index a number value
13:09:03: ERROR[main]: stack traceback:

Would that help?

Yes, great job!

I think it's a sort of 'bug' in the simple mobs dependency for some computers

I remembered this and later posts:
http://minetest.net/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=44927#p44927

Maybe downloading the latest of both critters and simple mobs or if possible downloading them from the Github (zip tab) wil solve the problem nowadays.
