All this game mod gives you that is different than the typical minetest game is that all the formspecs in the default game now have their appropriate backgrounds.

Download and rename as something else. Then put the folder inside of your minetest/game/ directory.

No, it will not work for mods like inventory plus, although it could be made to work.

Can you change the background?

yes you can but it is not coded yet. try pilzadam's build of blockplanet. that has a health bar a food bar and also an air bar.

Hmm. We could put bars in the inventory screen itself, at least....
