i put this under modding general because they are mod textures however i have no issue with it being moved.

That sounds great! I'm very bad at creating textures and usually stick to default_wood.png for everything due to lack of textures.

For a start: How about a texture for the barrels? The default_wood texture from the minimal game works to a degree, but something resembling iron...rings around the barrel would be better. Plus a texture for the horizontal barrel. And a version for a 2d image as a fallback.

I'd also like to have animated models for mills: One for water mills, and one for the wings of a windmill. Those might be difficult to do. I think it would be a nice view if there where rotating wheels.

Also a texture for a small one-node wide mill (the stones that grind the mill) would be nice. Could be used for paper as well. Ah, come to that: A picture for wooden pulp would be helpful.

There's already a texture request thread here. Maybe you can help with some of those?
