Yes, I was referring to documentation about
released mods not
mod releases.
Ex: So ModYXZ is stable and to make public you must add it to the wiki Mods directory. If your mod is not stable or private, it has no business being listed there.
Discussion about specific releases should stay in the forums or even an issue database.
The structure of the wiki is better for definitions (like crafting and blocks), instructions and descriptions. In a forum you must follow the main post and a ton of comments to get all the information you need.
The steps for adding mods to wiki wouldn't be too complicated:
1- Add mod to Mods page
2- Create specific mod page (ie., SnapperMod)
3- Assign version
4- Add all documentation (crafts, blocks, description, credits, licenses), with linked dependencies (ie., MoreoresMod)
5- Provide link to mod's release discussion in forums
To update:
1- Update documentation
2- Change version
