FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Decided to voice some ideas I've had for mods in case sometime in the future someone might want to give them a go.

* Zombie mod: A mod with zombies that roam around (at night if possible) that do damage.
* Aliens and UFOs: Aliens and UFOs? lol
* Blinking colored light blocks: Like the kind you may would see on top of a building or a red light district.
* Ganja mod?: Basically some plants that randomly grow that look like cannabis plants.
* Furniture mod: Various blocks that looks like various kinds of furniture. Like TVs Fridge stoves etc.
* Various decorative items such as wallpaper, carpets, rugs, curtains, window trim/frame, chairs, beds, "chest of drawers" that work like a locking chest and such.
* Various new plants like mushrooms, lichen, different trees (maybe), the ganga, etc. The mushrooms if possible should spawn in dark places where there's dirt and be edible to give hearts. Would be cool as well if they can be used in place of wheat in making bread (lol Avernum).
* Mod to give more control over free movement. Example, the server admin with the mod could allow free movement above ground up to a certain height and below ground to a certain depth. Or even disable free movement below ground but allow it above ground. (not sure if this could be made into a mod or if the game itself would need to be edited)

You have any ideas for mods that don't currently exist but may could be done in the future?

I have a lot of ideas that I've gotten from watch Minecraft mod videos. I'll post some tomorrow.

could you make a few different stair blocks, plz plz plz !!!! they are soooo helpful in these games for decorating. maybe wood, stone,cobblestone, and brick?

Yea I believe stairs would be cool to have if they could be done. I may try keeping top post updated with suggestions.

Half-blocks aren't currently possible, it's a work in progress.

lol yea I noticed that TNT is "experimental" but not functional yet. Would be interesting when it does work.

I added the following to my first post:
